A modern, nine-storey hotel featuring a distinctive tower, the Novotel St Petersburg Centre is located in the historic centre of the city, 100 metres from Nevsky Prospekt, the city's bustling main street. The 233 guestrooms feature modern decor and furnishings. All are equipped with satellite television, wireless and dial-up Internet connections, direct-dial phones, safes and minibars. Bathrooms include shower/tub combinations and complimentary toiletries.
The contemporary Côté Jardin restaurant serves Mediterranean and Russian fare accompanied by fine wines, while the lobby bar offers cocktails, light snacks, large-screen television and complimentary newspapers. Health-conscious guests can tone up in the gym, while souvenirs and Russian vodka are on sale in the on site gift shop. The free-access business centre offers faxing and printing facilities, and those with laptops can get online via wireless Internet connections. The hotel houses nine meeting rooms, the largest of which can accommodate up to 180 people. Other practical amenities include a 24-hour front desk, around-the- clock room service, laundry facilities, dry-cleaning services and a cash machine. The concierge is on hand to book tickets for events and excursions and advise on local attractions. Motorists will find complimentary secure parking on site. Those keen to explore the area will find the Neva River one kilometre away, and the Russian Museum within 1.5 kilometres. Further afield, visitors can head to the Peterhof Fountains, 30 kilometres from the hotel. Saint Petersburg Pulkovo International Airport is 17 kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 40 minutes.

Bus 13 runs from the airport to Moskovskaya station. From there, take the blue subway to Technologichekly Institute and then take the red subway to Ploshad Vosstanuya/Mayakovkaya. The subway station is 300 metres from the hotel. The hotel can arrange airport transfers for a fee. Moscow railway station is 500 metres from the hotel. Taxis are also available from the airport; a typical fare to the hotel is 36-50 EUR. Saint Petersburg has a good public transport system comprising a metro, buses, trolleys, trams, taxis and boats.
Driving directions: From the airport, take Pulkovsko Chausee towards the city centre. Continue on Moskovsky Prospekt to Moskovskiye Square. Turn right into Ligosvky Prospekt and continue to Vostaniya. Turn left into Nevsky Prospekt and then right into Mayakovkogo UI.
