The Hotel First is a smart, business-oriented hotel set two kilometres from Gigli Shopping Centre and three kilometres from Florence city centre. Florence Vespucci Airport is about six kilometres and a driving time of 15 minutes from the hotel.

The airport is a short taxi ride from town (costing 13-16 EUR) although it is also possible to take the half-hourly bus, which transports passengers to Santa Maria Novella Station, in the centre of Florence. From Florence Airport, turn right out of the airport exit and follow the road for one kilometre, following the signs for the A1 towards Bologna. Enter the motorway and continue for approximately 2 kilometres until the next exit, Sesto Fiorentino / Calenzano. Once though the toll gates follow the road to the right and after 150 metres turn right into the hotel car park.
