From Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport (TLV): Distance to Sheraton Tel Aviv Hotel and Towers is 18 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Many hotels offer airport transfers. Taxis wait at level G, terminal 3, and the fare to the city centre is around 90 NIS. Fares are higher at night. Sheruts (shared taxis) have fixed rates per passenger. Visitors are advised to use registered taxis only. The number 5 bus runs between the airport and Airport City terminal; buses are available from here to Tel Aviv. Trains run from terminal 3 to Tel Aviv's central station. Single tickets cost 12 NIS to Tel Aviv. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Sheruts (shared taxis) are popular for exploring Tel Aviv. The minibuses can accommodate up to 10 passengers. Fares are around 5 NIS per person and most city routes are covered. Private taxis are inexpensive, but passengers should ensure the meter is used. Buses run regularly throughout the town, except on Jewish holidays and the Sabbath (Friday evening to Saturday evening). Tel Aviv city centre is compact and easy to explore on foot.
