The Pullman Montpellier Antigone, with its eight-storey glass façade, is located in the heart of Montpellier, 500 meters from the TGV station. The 89 air conditioned rooms are decorated in deep reds with mahogany furnishings. All rooms are equipped with cable television, pay movies, minibars, telephones, high-speed Internet access and hypo-allergenic bedding available. Superior rooms also feature plasma screen televisions and designer bathrooms with Philippe Starcke fixtures.
Guests can dine in Ciel d'Azur restaurant, which serves traditional Mediterranean dishes with alfresco dining at the hotel's peaceful poolside terrace on the eighth floor, overlooking Montpellier. House specialties include lamb loin flavored with herbs, and grilled fish. La Botanica Bar serves a long list of cocktails in a quiet atmosphere with refined decor and low-level lighting. The hotel's health and fitness center is also located on the eighth floor and includes a roof-top outdoor swimming pool surrounded by teak wood terraces with deckchairs, a spa tub, sauna, steam room and cardio-vascular and fitness machines. The recently built business center includes five 60-square-meter conference rooms for 200 people, with natural light, air conditioning, an overhead projector and audiovisual equipment. The panoramic terrace can also cater for cocktail parties of up to 200 people. The concierge is on hand to help book tickets and organize excursions, and for those looking for a late meal or quiet snack, room service is available from noon until midnight. The hotel just 100 meters from attractions such as the Place de la Comédie, the Piscine Olympique and the historic old town, or guests can spend a day at the seaside, 10 kilometers away. Montpellier has good transport links with many buses and trains connecting the city. Montpellier International Airport is five kilometers and has an airport shuttle service.
