Getting there. Plymouth airport is approximately four miles north of the city centre. The closest train station is in the city. Buses are only available at the Derriford roundabout, which can be reached on foot in around 10 minutes. Taxis from the airport to the Astor hotel cost about 10 GBP. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Plymouth is served by an extensive bus network, and some bus services run to rural parts of Devon. Trains run between Plymouth and towns in southeast Cornwall, as well as destinations throughout the country. A car is recommended for exploring the coastlines and countryside of Devon and Cornwall.
Driving directions. Depart Plymouth Airport. Head towards Tavistock Route (A386) and continue along the road for two miles. Enter the roundabout and leave at the second exit onto Marinamead Road. Enter the roundabout at Drakes Circus. Take the first exit to Charles Street. Continue along Charles Street (A374). Take a left into Bieton Side (33240). Take a left to Aanenaetim Street. Continue along to Eliot Street. The Hotel Astor is at the top of the road on the right- hand side.
