Location. The Days Inn Oxford is a low-rise modern hotel located seven miles from the centre of Oxford on the A40 ring road, and four miles from Blenheim Palace, birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. Luton Airport is 33 miles away; Heathrow 40 miles.
Hotel Features. This hotel's location on a motorway service station means that guest have full access to the facilities there including 24-hour garage, restaurants and shops. The hotel has a 24- hour front desk with a safe-deposit box, a continental breakfast is available each morning for a charge and ATM banking is on offer. Public areas have wireless Internet access and a meeting room is available for small groups. Guests arriving by car benefit from free parking.

Guestrooms. The 58 guestrooms over two floors have simple, light decor and functional furnishings including desks. All are equipped with satellite television with pay movies and premium TV channels, direct-dial phones and complimentary newspapers. Other amenities include coffee and tea making facilities, hair dryers, housekeeping and irons and ironing boards. Cribs are available on request as are wake-up calls.

Getting there. From Luton Airport, the best way to reach hotel from the airport is by taxi. Buses run from Heathrow Airport to Oxford bus station, 200 metres from the hotel. A single ticket costs approximately 14 GBP for adults, 7 GBP for children. A taxi costs around GBP 100. All prices are subject to change.

Getting around: Oxford has an efficient bus service; the city centre is compact and best explored on foot. Oxford's roads are notoriously congested and parking spaces are at a premium. The best way to see the surrounding countryside is to hire a car.

Driving directions. The hotel is located at Junction 8A of the M40; follow signs to Welcome Break Services.
