Location. The modern Arabian Courtyard Hotel and Spa is located in central Dubai, United Arab Emirates, opposite the Dubai Museum and 100 metres from the Mena Bazaar. Dubai Creek is 300 metres from the hotel. The hotel is six kilometres from Dubai International Airport.
Hotel Features. The modern exterior of the Arabian Courtyard Hotel and Spa combines with a traditional Arabic themed interior. The lobby has a 24-hour front desk, where multilingual staff can provide currency exchange and tourist information. The hotel offers complimentary valet parking.

Oriental dishes are served at the Silk Route in the Arabian Courtyard Hotel and Spa. The restaurant is decorated with Thai and Japanese flourishes and there is a garden terrace for alfresco eating. Live music and Indian food are on the menu at Mumtaz Mahal. The Bastakiya Café serves international dishes with views of the Dubai Museum's historic fort. The English-style Sherlock Holmes Pub, decorated with Holmes memorabilia, has a television for sporting events and offers daily specials and bar snacks. The traditional Ahlan Lounge in the lobby is open 24 hours for drinks and light meals. Room service is available 24 hours a day.

The hotel has a business centre. Small groups can be accommodated in the hotel's meeting rooms. Wireless Internet access is available.

The hotel has an outdoor pool with sundeck and a children's pool. There is a multi-gym with sauna, steam room and jetted tub. The onsite Zaitoon Wellness Spa offers massages and a range of beauty treatments (surcharge). Complimentary beach transfers are also offered.

Guestrooms. The Arabian Courtyard Hotel and Spa's 172 air-conditioned guestrooms are sumptuously styled, with dark wood furniture and traditional Arabic colour schemes. All rooms feature satellite television, in-room safes, minibars and high-speed Internet access (surcharge). Bathrooms have bath/shower combinations, bathrobes, slippers and designer toiletries.

From Dubai International Airport (DXB):
Distance to Arabian Courtyard Hotel and Spa is 6 kilometres, approximately 15 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Pre-paid taxis can be found at Terminal 1's Arrivals hall, and the fare to the city centre is approximately 40 AED. Limousines can be hired in the Arrivals hall. Buses run to the city centre every 10 minutes from 6 a.m.-10 p.m. Bus stations are located opposite Terminals 1 and 2. Buses 44, 33, 15, 11, and 4 run to the city centre from Terminal 1, passing near to most major hotels. Bus number 2 runs to the city centre from Terminal 2, also passing near to most major hotels. Buses depart approximately every 20-30 minutes, and a single ticket costs 2 AED. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. The Arabian Courtyard Hotel and Spa is on Al Fahidi Street. Public buses offer a reasonable service between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. Buses travel from Bur Dubai station, on Al-Ghubaiba road, and Deira bus station, near the gold souk. Buses have separate seated sections for women and men, with women typically sitting near the front. Travellers should pay the correct fare to the driver. In older parts of Dubai, small wooden motorboats cross over Dubai Creek between early morning and midnight. Air-conditioned taxis are efficient, cheap and safe, and can be pre-booked by telephone or hailed in the street. Complimentary valet parking is available for hotel guests.

Driving directions. From Dubai International Airport:
Head towards Deira to the Clock Tower roundabout.
Take the left exit and head for Maktoum Bridge.
Exit from the bridge towards Bur Dubai and turn right on Al Seef Road.
Follow the road to Al Fahidi roundabout.
Turn right on Al Fahidi Street and the hotel is on the left.
