Del Centro Hotel - Palermo

Frindly and helpful staff, however shortage of tourist information. Found the room comfortable, however no coffee or tea making facilities, and no sky or English channels on TV. The room also did not have comfortable chairs to sit on in the room

Hotel itself was very good. But the surrounding area didn't look safe, when I drove there in the evening. I was actually rather afraid when leaving my car in the narrow streets behind the hotel. In the morning I found my car in the same state as I left it at night. So may be I was wrong in my judgement.

If you’re in Palermo for the weekend or just a night’s stop over before exploring more of Sicily, Del Centro Hotel is a great choice. Located about a minute’s walk from the main central train station and where the bus drops you off to/from the airport, this hotel is perfect for a short stay where you probably won’t spend too much time in the room. Décor is a bit dated but rooms are fairly large, basic and clean. The hotel is also really close to the lively bars/clubs of Palermo and shops are literally out the door. Downside to this hotel is the water pressure (very minimal), the shower (is very very tiny) and service was extremely short & curt on both days. However these downsides are something you can get over as the location and price was worth it.

A Brilliant and Luxurios Hotel situated near the Main Train Staition in the center of the Old City. The staff we're very helpfull and polite and the accomidation should of one them a five star rating. The Facilities are better than one would find in most four star British Hotels. Language is no barrier as all the staff spoke very good English and we're very helpfull. The Rooms are ammaculate and on suite facilities are superb. The Hotel is ideal for Families, Couples and Singles and has a wide choice of rooms. The Bar is well stocked and very nice on the pocket.

The rooms were lovely, clean and with all necessary ammenities. Bed was soft though, which wasn't for me. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast pretty good. It was in a great location, 5 minutes walk from the central station (where you get the train to the airport) and on the main shopping street too.

Bathroom was build into the room - strange. small tv, lots of channels. No toothpaste or shampoo in bathroom. no internet. Very good and fresh breakfast, best coffe.

Newly refurbished, fantastic service, great location. Absolutely perfect as a base to see this most amazing city.
