For the price, the nearest thing to the perfect hotel. All of the staff we came in contact with were outstanding. I thought hotel security was very good.

wonderful hotel, clean, nice decor, friendly staff and excellent breakfast included, really a bonus. Best breakfast ever in a bed and breakfast hotel. Great location.

The location is unbeatable: 4 blocks from Michigan Avenue and 2 blocks from the Grand CTA station. The room is clean and comfortable. All the staff members we met were courteous and helpful. The room rate includes quite a sumptuous breakfast. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed our 4 days, ease to find resturants, shopping and transortation. Very nice people everyone was freindly and helpful.

Comfortable room - great bed! Very friendly & helpful staff. The room isn't very big, but since my boyfriend and I we were only there for the weekend, it worked. Wouldn't recommend for a family with kids because of the size. Only downside was that our room wasn't ready by 4:00, but it wasn't too long to wait.

Every thing was great except the parking which on the add at Hotel.com said included, but it was $44.00 extra charge when I got there. I think they need to change this rate or posted in their add.

Overall we loved this hotel! There were only a couple downfalls: A) The suite wasn't that much of a suite, but more like a big room with a couch and kitchenette - with mini fridge and wet bar. If you are a couple or an individual looking for a great place to stay in the heart of Chicago this is the place. If you are a larger family and are hoping to have a little privacy please know that the "living room area" is not separated from the "bedroom area" with a door. The other small inconvenience was that there is only one tv for the entire room. The workout room is fantastic. The pool and jacuzzi is small, but nice, and the complementary breakfast is great. B) The parking. Valet is over forty dollars for 24hours. If you are only going to be in the area for a day and will be walking around or using public transportation I would say that it is worth it otherwise you'll be parking in pay lots that by the end of the day will probably amount to the same cost if you had used the valet. On the day of your checkout you can actually leave your car in the valet area until 6pm that day even after you have checked out. This was a wonderful feature and it allowed my family to enjoy essentially a whole other day in the city. If you use this option your bags will be kept safe in a checked area. If you are staying for more than one day or will be using your car during the day then you should know that there is free parking up the street from the hotel from about 9pm-8am daily.

We totally enjoyed our stay!! The room was extremely clean & comfortable, the staff was very friendly & helpful plus the continental breakfast had a great selection. I would definitely stay here again!!

listed as a suite its one room with a bed and a couch. was looking for more room for the family

I booked this at the last minute. Both parties were to be later arrivals and part of my party had to check in before I arrived. I never entered or exited this property without a smile hello is there anything I can do. The best customer service bar none. Whoever is the manager should be commended. The staff bent over backwards to address your every need. Our luggage was out of the car and into the room in record time. The late arrivals beds were turned down and made up in the suite. Also one of the finest complimenatry continental breakfast you will ever find. Amazing!!!!I had booked at another property for the following two nights. That property was supposed to be a high end hotel chain. They need to come down the street to this proerty and takes some lessons. Every single staff person we encountered was tremendous. One of the best Front desks staffs as well. Nice pool and did I mention that breakfast? Kudos to youfor making our stay most memorable.

Everything was great with the hotel. Only thing that would be better is a parking garage. they only had valet parking. You have to call ahead to get your car, but most things are within walking distance so we did not drive anywhere. Looked like a garage was being built. I would stay here in the future.

Nice place, very clean. Suites aren't necessarily suites, rather where a sofa sits in most places it folds out and a glass partition partially separates the desk/sofa from the bed area. Great for our family vacation, except for the 2 adult bookstores, one just around the corner but in the same building, another just across the street. Close walk to Magnificent Mile (4 blocks).

This is one great hotel. The staff was very helpful. Margaretta at the front desk was very helpful in getting us into a fantastic suite. What a great employee, a real credit to the company. I recommend this hotel to anyone and will make this my "downtown" hotel when I am in Chicago.

The Springhill Suites staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. This was by far the best experience I have ever had with hotel employees. EVERYONE was willing to help. Although there were a lot of guests in the hotel the breakfast ran very smoothly. Within walking distance of everything you could want to see in downtown Chicago. Great experience and would definitely go back!

This hotel exceeded my expectation for the price paid. One suite comfortably housed a young family of 7 (5 young children), and the staff was extremely kid-friendly. They even had lollipops available at the front desk! The complementary breakfast was perfect for a big family, and our view of the city thrilled the kiddos!

The hotel was great. Stayed in the King Suite which was small for a suite but this is expected in Chicago. I would stay there again

Just booked for one night. After check-in, wished we had booked for another night to be able to enjoy all of the amenities. 25th floor view was fantastic! Bed and linens were luxurious. Continental breakfast was both convenient and delicious. Excellent location ....across the street from great restaurants. Would definitely recommend to others.

New, well kept, contemporary hotel at a great rate for a fantastic stay. Staff were very customer service oriented, and everything was in good order. Continental breakfast included is unusual for a downtown hotel and very appreciated. Highly recommended.

This hotel offers a great value for the city. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly and the breakfast service is excellent. My husband and I live in the suburbs, but ocassionally need to stay downtown. We have stayed here twice in the last 6 months and will definitely stay again.

Very Enjoyable, The hotel was easy to get around town from. Our room was clean and comfortable. Everyone at the hotel went overboard at helping us with directions,restaurants, and did it with a smile. We would stay here again in a minute.

we spend the time with three children and it was worth every penny. the staff is great, the locatio is great, and the price was the best when i compared it to others.

Friendly and helpful staff, Rooms with extra room for "suite" look, great location in downtown Chicago, wonderful restaurant around the corner, swim pool and work out facilities, a gem in the heart of Chicago.

My room stunk from cigarettes and the hotel was full so I could not get moved to another room.

Friendly ,helpful staff,excellent service ,excellent location .

This was a great hotel for the price. It's in a wonderful location surrounded by restaurants and bars. The room was clean and comfortable. I definitely would recommend.

This is our second stay in this hotel and I was very happy with everything. The staff was the most friendly and helpful of any hotel I have stayed in including a number of hotels in Chicago. I hope to stay there again in the near future.

Outstanding service. Concierge and valet all top quality and a must since parking in the area is a challenge. Note that the signage outside the hotel entrance says "Residence Inn" and not "Springhill Suites" which is a bit confusing. Indoor swimming pool is small and a bit too cold, but view from the pool area is awesome. Can't beat the delicious, convenient hot breakfast included with the room. King suite is comfortable and has a nice kitchenette. Will certainly stay there again soon.

GREAT PLACE FOR SPRING BREAK . TOOK 2 TEENAGERS 13 AND 14. LOVED IT! CLOSE TO MANY ATTRACTIONS, FRONT DESK VERY HELPFUL AND PATIENT WITH A "NON- NAVIGATOR" LIKE ME. CITY IS VERY EASY TO GO AROUND IN. ROOM CLEAN. STAFF FRIENDLY

The staff was very friendly and Helpful. Great price, Beautiful room and very comfortable. Price was very good. Breakfast was the best Ive ever had for a hotel. Lobby was very spacious and comfortable. Location is good. I will definitely be back.

Everything about the stay at the hotel was great. The only issue and a point of caution would be the valet service. $44.00 per night which does include in and out services. That was a bit on the expensive side. If you plan multiple stops to and from the hotel it may be worth it. If not, there are several parking garages close by. The hotel itself is very good. We recommend it highly.
