The Dominican - Brüksel

Beautiful hotel. Very close to Grand Place and all the restaurants and night life. The room was great with a large bed of high quality. The bar was beautiful and modern. One minor thing: the television set didn't work in our room. We reported it to the reception, and they told us how to reset it, but it just didn't work whatever we tried, so finally we gave up (we were hardly there anyway). Other than that, I found it a really beautiful hotel. Highly recommended.

I thought the Dominican hotel was great. Aas a frequent traveller for both work and pleasure, i thought it was a cool and clean.

Room and hotel very nicely presented, however the waiter was nothing other than rude at dinner which took the shine off a great hotel and facilities. Would not put me off going back but disappointing service for such a good hotel.

New and modern, with a wonderful staff. Located near the Grand Place, but far enough removed that there are no hordes of tourists.

Hotel and Staff are very concerned with comfort of guests! Food at breakfast was mediocre and expensive, but otherwise a perfect stay

I stayed on 28 February and was bowled over by the style and comfort of this hotel. I had spent quite some time researching hotels in Brussels and this was the only one that had overwhelmingly good reviews. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The double bed was huge and the linen absolutely top quality and very very comfortable. All mod cons in terms of plasma screen TV, internet connection and a beautiful bathroom. There was even a nespresso machine and a very well stocked fridge. The building itseld is quite stunning and breakfast was a marvel to behold if somewhat pricey.

The combination of traditional and modern worked really well and the attention to detail in the design was great. The bed was amazingly comfy, the bathroom great and the service very good. Breakfast is too expensive, but is good.

The Hotel is very well placed for the centre of Brussels, but it is very quiet- no traffic noise at all. There are many restaurants within a few minutes walk, and the food in the hotel is very good. We found the staff very helpful and the standard of cleanliness excellent. The room was very well equipped- comfortable king-size bed and one of the best shower-rooms that we have met.However the decor was very sombre - all blacks and browns, and there was not a single drawer in the room so all one's possessions had to be left lying about.Another minor complaint perhaps was that Gregorian chant is played in the lift always and does begin to grate after a couple of days. To sum up - a very good choice for a short stay but not for a longer break

This is a beautiful hotel which has been extremely thoughtfully designed. We stayed in a double room which was spacious, contemporary and luxurious The bed was the most comfortable bed ever and the rainshower equally impressive. We loved sitting outside in the atrium of an evening and felt this reflected the tranquility of the hotel in general. Only 5 minuites walk from the Grand Place, the hotel was well located for exploring Brussels. . This Dominican is perfect for you if you are looking for luxury, style and quality. We had a perfect stay at this hotel and didn`t want to leave !! I would thoroughly recommend The Dominican Hotel to anyone visiting Brussels .

Great hotel without a doubt and once you get your bearings its not in a bad position either. I managed to do all the things I needed to; theater (right behind the opera house), shopping, Just down the road from the opera house, breakfast at Vaudville in the arcade, Short walk away and the square during the day as a bit of a meander. Bring your swim suits as the spa is lovely!

The hotel is well located with excellent facilities. Some building works are still going on next door but did not affect our stay. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. It is described as boutique type hotel but I would say it is just a good 4 star.

We were more than pleased with the Dominican hotel. It's not your typical European hotel. It has great big rooms and modern bathrooms. The service was incredible and the location was perfect. It's about 3 blocks from Grand Place and even closer to some great shopping areas. We couldn't have been any happier with our stay.

The Dominican proved to be an excellent choice for our short stay in Brussels. The location was very central and perfect for visiting the city. This hotel has been tastefully decorated and has a relaxing atmosphere. Our room was extremely comfortable while the downstairs area was very pleasant to sit in, morning or evening. Staff were most courteous and helpful. One criticism would be that the small gym area was too warm!

Brand new hotel near the Grand Place. Walking distance to the Sablon and the Bourse areas. Since it's new everything is nice and clean. The restaurant is very nice but typical (bad) Belgian service from the waitstaff. The frontdesk staff was noticably better. Still a lot of construction on the adjacent streets. Not convenient to drive/park in the area. The wi-fi was an exceptional value add for the normal Brussels hotel. The television and coffee maker are great touches. I was not able to see the fitness center, but the bar was inviting.

Extra charge on our breakfast even though it's already been paid in the booking.

La struttura è accogliente, la ns camera era dotata di ogni conforts, compreso l'uso gratuito del minibar, della pay-tv e di internet; buon livello di pulizia ed attenzione al cliente. Vicino alla Grand'Place ed a pochi passi dalla zona dei ristoranti per chi non vuole utilizzare il ristorante interno. Nel complesso giudizio ottimo.

Mooi hotel, prima gelegen in het centrum van Brussel. Onze kamer aan straatzijde was wel wat rumoerig. Ook stonk het muf vanuit de badkamer. Toch een prachtig hotel. Jammer dat het ontbijt 27 euro per persoon moet kosten, het was prima maar veel te duur. 104 euro voor 2 dagen is teveel!

Pour qui recherche un hôtel moderne, design, idéalement situé dans le centre de Bruxelles, du luxe juste comme il faut, The Dominican est la bonne adresse. La chambre : très belles hauteurs de plafond, déco sobre et élégante, pas très grande mais très bien agencée, une grande literie plutôt confortable, et une salle de bains sympathiques. Les services : wifi bien relayé (une base dans chaque couloir) mais débit catastrophique, quelques petits problèmes dans le réapprovisionnement café (séjour de 2 jours), mais le reste est correct. L'hôtel : vraiment un emplacement de choix (rue calme, près de toutes les attractions du centre ville, parking à 100 mètres), un style superbe, vraiment de très bon goût.

Hôtel très confortable, très calme, la décoration est superbe, le personnel adorable et le restaurant très bon ! La situation géographique : très proche de la Grand Place (3mn à pied) avec un parking à deux pas.

Hotel bien placé, accueillant et de très bon confort. Bon rapport qualité prix.

Le décor sombre est voulu. On peut aimer, mais il est d'une étonnante froideur que reflète le peu d'empressement du personnel. Le restaurant est à éviter, cher, prétentieux et peu honorable. Le buffet du matin à 27€ avec oeufs brouillés froids et bacon (majorité gras) froid également est une arnaque.

tres beau cadre chambres tres agreables et calmes mais le personnel gentil au demeurant n'est pas qualifie pour gerer un hotel de ce standing et particulierement al'acceuil

Design hotell med sjel

Un boutique Hotel très proche de la Grand Place mais tranquil et charmant. Les chambres sont petites mais bien décorées, le choix entre salle de bain avec douche où bagnoire est laissé aux client. Lits très comfortables et WiFi.

Tres bien placé , ambiance magazines de déco , très calme bien qu'à 100 m des rues animées , machine nesspresso dans les chambres ! Petit dej exellent mais quand même un peu cher malgré le champagne ( 27 euros ) , chambres très bien équipées et lit confortable , vraiment une bonne adresse ! N' ai essayé le restaurant qu'une fois : c'est bon , bien présenté , cuisine style branché .

Wunderschöne äußerst stilvolle Einrichtung allerdings Sauna-Bereich noch nicht fertig und viel zu klein für dieses Luxus-Hotel angelegt Frühstück absolut überteuert
