Yes Hotel - Roma

Very helpful, multi-lingual staff. Room clean, with air con. Excellent breakfast. Hotel located very near to station. The only improvement would be tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

My husband and I stayed at the Yes Hotel for 5 days during a 2 week Italy vacation, because of the overwhelming positive reviews I read. I thought, why spend more? (I know better now!) I was pleased with the modern look, and the train being so close, but there are a few annoyances that stop me from recommending this hotel to others. They gave us only 1 room card (which as you may know you need this card to operate the lights, air conditioning, etc). I like to sleep in, my husband is an early riser. So one morning he was going to go eat breakfast while I got ready (we didn't know the lights would go out almost right away! Just to warn others that may try this! :) ) If they gave us 2 room keys, that would have solved the problem (maybe they would have, but the front desk seemed put off if I asked for anything - like drinking glasses when the cleaning staff did not leave us any). This is very minimal though, I just wanted to warn others about it, since I was taking a shower when the lights went out! My biggest complaint was that we were in the annex, and the outside door slammed very loudly. Naturally this is a hotel so people are coming and going all the time, so the door would slam constantly. It got old. After a couple of days we decided to let the hotel know (we have never complained about a hotel room before, we are not very picky!). When we told the front desk clerk about it, he said he had never heard that before (which I find hard to believe because it was LOUD! And I can seriously sleep through anything!) And he said if he moved us, it would be to a smaller room because we were already upgraded to a triple for no extra cost! (I can not believe our room was supposed to accomodate 3 people! I had no idea it was a triple room! I could not imagine something smaller!) We kept the noisy room, because we both had 2 bags for our 2 week stay in Italy, and we were only there 5 nights. (and my husband came from Iraq, so he needed space for his uniform, etc) Also, the bed

Close walking distant to Termini station make it convinient transport to any part of the city. Room is clean, shower water pressure strong. Front desk is nice and helpful.

A warm welcome by the front of house staff the room was kept very clean for the whole of our stay with fresh towels daily Not a huge choice for breakfast but it was fresh food and presented well Ideally placed for the station and metro A selection of places to eat within a couple of minutes walk if you dont want to venture far after a long day sight seeing Would most definately stay there again

We searched and searched online for a reasonable hotel and the link for the Yes Hotel kept appearing at the bottom of our searches. We clicked on it and read the reviews and decided to book our stay at Yes Hotel, We were not disappointed. It is very close to Termini Station and within walking distance of a few neighborhood restaurants. The room was small but clean (although the room was kept warmer than we like and the only way to keep the heat off was to open the window). The staff at the front desk was extremely helpful with our questions and someone is available 24 hours. Breakfast consisted of a choice of cereals, rolls, plain yogurt with fruit, meat and cheese, and mediocre coffee. Overall, we were very pleased with our choice and would stay here again.

This hotel is within 5 minutes walking distance from the platforms at Termini. It still smelled new and everything was extremely clean in the hotel. The staff members were very kind and helpful. I'd gladly stay here again.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and thought it was a good deal for the cost. The hotel is very modern and clean, and breakfast is included. The location is excellent if you are looking for a place near major transportation, as the Stazione Termini (the main subway hub) is very close. The only downside is that our room and bathroom were very very small. If you can deal with that, then you will enjoy this hotel. Also you can purchase internet for a reasonable price for use on your laptop.

We booked this hotel for the convenient location, we weren't dissappointed. We got on the shuttle bus from the airport which took us to the Terminal which was a 5min walk to the Hotel. From there we were able to walk to lots of the main tourist spots. The Hotel was small and friendly, very clean, the staff very pleasant and the rooms very bright, clean and comfortable, with a good quality fresh continental breakfast. We would most certainly go back and also recommend it to friends. The offer of three nights for the price of two made it very good value for money.

Clean, stylish, friendly, 2 minutes walk to Termini, nice features like a flat screen TV, sunflower shower head, decent breakfast, we were totally impressed and very comfortable. It's a 3 star with 5 star qualities!

The hotel has excellent location, only a few minutes walk from Termini Station, room was clean and modern in style. The only problem was that during the time we stayed there, builders had been working just under our window, making loud noises from early morning. It was not really nice to wake up at around 8 after a late night out. When we let the staff know about it, they just said they knew but didn't even apologize. Otherwise the hotel would be good value for money.

We stayed at the Yes hotel as the last day of our 2 week honeymoon. The staff was very friendly and helping, but that didn't help our stay. Definitely was not a nice stay. First of all, there was construction going on. Yes, it does stop around 5 pm, but as travelers we do take naps and like to relax. Kinda hard when you hear a jackhammer and drilling constantly. The front desk area is very modern, but of course the main elevator was out of service, so in order to get to our room, we had to go outside and go up this rickety elevator that can only hold about 2 people max. Looks like it's from one of those horror flicks. Another issue we had is, in order to have air conditioning, you need to have the front desk turn it on for you. We have never stayed at a hotel that does this. Kind of a pain, when usually this is an automatic ammenity. We also had an electricity issue, in order for your lights to work in the room, you use a magnetic card, kind of like a credit card. Of course our room, that feature didn't work. So in order for the lights to work, the breaker had to be switched off. Doesn't really make sense. We had to go back and forth with staff to get the card to work correctly. Finally we got it to work and came back. We went out for 20 minutes and came back to the room and now nothing worked. Had to get staff again and they had to reinitialize the magnatic card. I won't go on about this any more, but what a pain. This was our honeymoon, and if hindsight were 20/20 we would have gone home that day. We were so aggravated with everything, and the hotel not near anything we stayed at the mall at the train station for the day. One last thing, if you are light sleepers, or like hearing your neighbors, this is your hotel. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything that is going on in the hallway crystal clear. Was in Rome for the day and needed a hotel to stay overnight. Newly renovated hotel. We had 4 twin beds in one room. Helpful staff who assisted us with tours, and taxi reservations and who was very attentive to our needs. Good complimentary breakfast and loved the coffee.

A good quality hotel conveniently located to Rome's main railway station- but far enough not to be troubled by noise.Rooms were clean and comfortable and hotel staff were both friendly and very helpful.Breakfasts were good.We would certainly stay here again.

Definitely a hotel with a modern appearance. The reception desk was helpful, especially with advice on dress at the Vatican. There are some great restaurants in the area. The bus from Ciampino stops at Stazione Termini, which is like a minute walk (tops). This is great for getting around Rome, whether by metro or bus. The breakfast room is airy and modern, with continental breakfast and a large tv. The hotel has a lift (we took our own bags up). The bathroom was clean and comfortable (also modern in appearance), the shower was a little small, but more than bearable. The safe was a little crazy, demanding a pin, but it did the job. The area felt safe at night, if I come back to Rome, this is where I'd come back to stay.

This hotel is equivalent to a tiny microtel in the US. The hallways are narrow, as is the elevator. The staff is multilingual and very friendly. The morning breakfast is basic (cheese, luncheon meat, rolls, coffe, tea, cereal), but OK and nice and clean. Be aware that the AC system is automatically programmed to turn off the cooling in all rooms at 2:00 AM. You cannot reset or override this system from your room. So, by 3:00 AM every morning, our room had become terribly hot. You can solve this by calling up the front desk (in the middle of the night) and have them reset the AC in your room. Then, another 45 minutes later, the room has cooled down just enough to get back to sleep. The front desk cannot reset the system until it shuts itself off, so you can't asked the AC to be overridden or reset before you go to bed. There is a very good internet site just one block south and west of the hotel. Good, safe, and inexpensive. Walking to the Termini is about a 3-5 minute walk, but does go down rough sidewalks and through some narrow street areas. So, if you know what you are getting into, it can be an inexpensive place to simply sleep and stage from the Termini. I would not recommend it for families, older adults, or anyone with any physical needs or challenges. Not a place for an extended stay.

Very modern clean confortable rooms within 5 minutes walk of Termini station. The rooms are on the small side which is the only disadvantage, but overall very good value for money and given it's closeness to the trains/metro/buses a good base to explore Rome

This hotel is super modern inside and very easy to find from the train station. It isn't as close to some of the attractions as some other hotels, but everything is still basically walking distance.

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night. It met all our requirements. It was so near the main station with lots of buses and metro to take us wherever we desired. The hotel staff was most accommodating and helpful. I would really recommend Yes Hotel for a short stay. Clean, modern room and lovely bathroom. It was excellent value. Perfect. Thank you to them!

Yes Hotel was great. The room I had was a little small, but it was very comfortable and clean. I slept well. It looks very nice inside, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. The only blight I remember was that since some spaces are a bit tight (rooms, corridors, etc.) a few of the walls had black scuff marks. But really, everything was great. The location close to Termini station is very convenient as well, especially if you arrive very late or need to leave early in the morning.

The Yes Hotel is very clean, and recently updated. Our bathroom was small, but it was clean, well maintained and well designed. We were just stopping in Rome for one-night during our honeymoon. The hotel is just 2 blocks from the train station, so it was a convenient location for such a short trip. The Hotel is not a honeymooners paradise, but if you are looking for a place to stay in Rome for a short period of time, this is the place!

Newly refurbished with front desk concierge service. Great three star hotel - very pleasant staff, clean & comfortable rooms. Breakfast prefectly adequate. Located in a pleasant side street north of Termini station - Colliseum easilly walkable. City & tour buses all stop at Termini.

The staff were extremely helpful---were able to create an itinerary based on ours needs. The room was very clean and modern. Breakfast was provided and it was great. The hotel was only a couple of blocks away from the train station which made it easy and affordable to get around. I would definitely return here.

My husband and I were only visiting Rome for two days and stayed at the Yes Hotel. As a previous review had mentioned there is a sign above the building for New York Hotel and it is not until you are in front of the hotel until you see the correct signage? no big deal. It is very close to the Termini Train station, so that was good, but most of the sights are not close to the train station? again not a big deal to my husband and I. The surrounding area is a little scary and they have the front door of the hotel locked at all times, the front desk has to buzz you in order to enter. However, once inside, it is a beautiful hotel with very clean rooms. Our biggest complaint was the bed. It was hard as a rock, and I in fact lifted up the sheets to see if it was even a mattress. The comforter felt like a piece of cardboard as well. Neither of us got a good night's sleep, and after a long day of walking and sightseeing that is all we wanted. If you like stiff beds, and I mean very stiff, then this hotel will be perfect. (Breakfast was included which was nice)

The staff members were very welcoming and offered their services. They also spoke very good English, which helps me when my Italian isn't working. The room was clean, small but larger than what I expected, and the bathroom had a nice sized tub/shower. Plus it's not too far from the train station so anyone can hope on the metro trains to sightsee. The hotel had a flat screen t.v. in the room with cable connections. I believe there was DSL as well (don't quote me). Now that's the good - here's the not so bad. What I found wrong with the hotel is the hallways were quite small and the bed was too hard for me. I'm a fan of pillowtop mattresses so it depends on the person really. But I would recommend this hotel to those on a short visit to Rome or on a business trip. By the way if you plan on eating breakfast in the morning you might want to wake up early because seats are limited.

A few complaints, but overall a good stay. The receptionist was rather grumpy every time I saw him. Was hard to get him to smile. Also, the bed was awful, buckled like a U when I slept on it. Single room was tiny, but to be expected. There was no AC but this was not a problem, the room stayed very cool and there was a fan provided. The hotel had quaint touches and felt very Venetian- I appreciated this. I needed to be close to Piazzale Roma for an early morning flight so this was about a 10 min walk away- perfect. Price was very reasonable too.

Considering the area it is surrounded by (Termini Train Station), this hotel is a great place to stay when in Rome. Central location, quite surroundings, and the best thing of all great staff. The staff was VERY helpful in making restaurant reservations, getting information about sites, calling taxis, eltc. The rooms are very clean and up-to-date. The only thing I would suggest they add is an iron and an alarm colck to the rooms. Defenetly worth every penny.

dette hotell overrasket meg veldig postivt. Hotellet er helt nyoppusset og rommet var kjempe flott. betjeningen var hyggelig og alltid blid og hjelpsom. Beliggenheten til hotellet er ikke så verst som det kan se ut på kartet. ligger ti femten min fra fontana de trevi og spanske trappen. Rolige omgivelser med mange gode restauranter i gatene omkring. Stille omgivelser og ikke noe støy som kunne spolert søvn. Ypperlig hotell som jeg anbefaler på det sterkeste. Burde hatt en stjerne til og fire totalt.

un hôtel rénové , moderne et tout confort, hyper bien situé pour prendre bus ou métro depuis la Gare Termini (noeud central des transports en commun)et silloner ainsi Rome. Seul bémol: chambre un peu petite (mais on n'est pas là pour y passer du temps !), idem pour la salle du buffet petit-déj qui reste simple pour un 3*.

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhälnis, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, gutes Frühstück. Sehr saubere und neu renovierte Zimmer. Durch die Bahnhofsnähe ideal als Ausgangspunkt für Stadtbesichtigungen.

Prima hotel. Dichtbij station en veel gezellige restaurants. Bouwvakkers waren wel vroeg aanwezig, ook op zondag. Ontbijt was voldoende. Vriendelijk personeel. Alles is op loopafstand en je zit toch in een rustige buurt.

Frühstück könnte abwechslungsreicher sein. Es gibt Kaffe/Tee/Milch, Müsli, Brötchen, Croissant, Butter, Marmelade/Honig, Käse/Wurst (eine Sorte) Jojurt keine Eier etc.

Väldigt fräscht och snyggt hotell. Trevlig personal, som alla pratar engelska. Ingen vidare frukost, annars hade de haft 4 stjärnor!
