Good service, clean room. It was just hard to find as it didn't come up at all on my gps. I booked the room because it advertised being within walking distance of citifield, but it was a little too far to walk and we had to take a taxi.

This hotel is kind of tucked away in a corner, although it's on an expressway, if you can believe that. We had trouble finding it at first, but the hotel staff I called guided me easily to it. Neighborhood is awful, but hotel itself and staff were great. Free full breakfast was very good and a pleasant surprise. I think it was a little expensive, but in New York everything is usually a bit pricey. It was very convenient to getting to CITI Field, but unfortunately getting back the roads were blocked off and it was a hassle to drive less than a few miles, so I rated it down for location. Room was clean and small, but comfy enough.

After a horrible, flight-delayed day, it was a treat to reach the hotel and find a comfortable, clean room with a great bed. Got in late and encountered no problems. Have had problems at other LGA hotels--this was a find and one I will return to again and again. JWL

They have a very helpful staff and were very patient and kind to us. They helped with directions and getting us to church on time for a funeral. In fact, they were the only people we encountered on our trip that went above service to assist us in our travels. The thick soft towels are to die for and feel wonderful after a shower.

"Great hotel value but located a fair distance from the airport"

Great hotel value - new rooms and furnishings - and the price includes a very good breakfast. The only potential negative is that the hotel is located quite a drive from the airport and there was a delay of more than one hour getting the shuttle to pick me up after I telephoned. The plus is that the hotel provides a free shuttle to the nearest subway station and it was a breeze to get to midtown Manhattan.

We were so happy with this hotel! The amenities were great--free Internet access, continental breakfast, free shuttle to LaGuardia Airport and a nice mall and friendly staff. The room was very nice & the whole place seemed new. The only minor complaint was that we needed to take the first shuttle of the morning (4:30 a.m.) to make our 6 a.m. flight, but the shuttle driver got stuck in traffic and we didn't leave the hotel until 5 a.m.

The Holiday Inn Express was a decent hotel. The staff was friendly and the room was sufficient. Could use a small fridge in the rooms. Need a car for the stay and it is right off the LIE Highway.

We stayed at this hotel to save a little on New Year's Eve. We were a little worried about the distance, but they have a shuttle that takes you to the train station and they were there at 1:30 in the morning New Year's day to pick us up. The staff was very friendly and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds we've slept in at a hotel. Great stay for the money. I'd stay again.
