Holiday Inn LaGuardia - Corona

I stayed two days, room was nice no excessive noise in the hallway or rooms with was a plus. Wish room was a bit bigger

Enjoyed our stay

The hotel and its staff were great, courteous, well-spoken. The restaurant was absolute crap. It was expensive and the service was beyond terrible. Food was crap to mediocre. Oh and the hotel is in what appears to be the ghetto? I knew that going in, though. Although we came in after 2 one night and weren't scared or anything. It just looks rundown and everything around the hotel is spraypainted.

We booked this hotel because it was close to LaGuardia and close to a subway. I thinnk It's probably the only one in the area which met both criteria. Hotel is adequate, rooms a bit small, clean though. Updated furniture and bathrooms (nice). Staff was helpful. Neighborhood: I wouldn't walk around at night but it was full of friendly people during the day. Lots of local quick food options like ethnic Central American, Chinese (real) and NYC fare. We'd stay again and are currently planning to.

Too far to subway.No restaurants close by.Limited parking space in car park,but parking on road available[not thursday morning].Rooms OK,bed comfy and good quality linen.Bar very pleasant but busy hard to find a seat.Watch for obscure taxes on bill.

Beds were uncomfortable, but other than that hotel was adequate. Good value for price.

overall of everything.....fair. good stay, good location at least for us. room was small but cozy.

Although the hotel was hard to find, once there it was great. The service was good, it was close to the subway, in a somewhat run-down, but apparently safe neighborhood. The restaurant in the hotel was outstanding. As good as any hotel restaurant I've been in and more than adequate if the weather is bad and you don't want to go out to eat. Perfect hotel if you're going to a Mets game or the US Open. A half hour by subway to the city. Excellent value.

Poor Customer Service No confortable room breakfast horrible too expensive

The staff were very courteous and nice. The airport shuttle van drivers and the front desk personnel were extremely friendly. This hotel is across the street from Shea Stadium and short walk to the train station. The neighborhood, though, was run down and we were afraid to be out at night, especially walking back from the train station. The hotel itself is old especially as you go upstairs. The lobby looks all new. Didn't get a chance to explore the indoor pool and gym. Food at the restaruant was a little disappointing.

-Hotel needs reno. -Did not have room with 2 beds as booked. -weird staff that just did not care. -difficult to find -expensive -internet did not work due to more users than capacity, I have never had this problem before in a hotel, ever.
