Best Western Grant Park - Chicago

Alışveriş merkezine çok yakın 5 dk. yürüme mesafesinde. Michigan ave. üzerinde çok canlı bir alanda. Görülecek heryere kolaylıkla ulaşılabilecek bir güzergah üzerinde. Otel rahat, temiz, personel ilgili. Havuz ve fitness salonunu kullanme fırsatımız olmadı ama onlarında yeterince iyi oldugunu tahmin ediyorum. Kısaca Hiç düşünmeden tekrar giderim.

Good value and location for Museum Campus and Grant Park, but an $8-$10 cab ride to downtown, and car use out of the question due to parking costs. Also expensive overnight parking. If flying in to tour the city, don't bother with a car rental, save the money for cabs.

I recently stayed at this hotel for the Widespread Panic concert and my experience was awesome! The hotel was extremely close to the charter one pavilion and within walking distance of a few restaurants. I left the do not disturb sign on and the staff never knocked! Our room was very clean and the bed was super comfy!! All in all we had a great stay and would definately recommend this hotel to anyone going to Chicago!

We chose this hotel because we were traveling to Chicago with grandchildren ages 4 and 6 and it was close to the attractions that we wanted to visit. Most were within walking distance, even with the children and the location was absolutely perfect! You must visit the Yolk restaurant around the corner for breakfast--the kids loved it each day (go early) and Grant Park is right across the street. The only problem that we had was lack of linens--the hotel only gave us 3 towels and 1 washcloth for 4 people and when we asked for extra pillows we were told they were "all out"!! Otherwise; we will definitely go back again.

I recently had a short stay at the Best Western Grant Park. The location was great. Because the transit system is so good,I was able to go anyplace i wanted by bus. I was also close enough to walk to a grocery store, Walgreens and a retail store. Also several resterants close by. Great place Great buy.

The one thing we did not like is there is no continental breakfast. There is a restaurant downstairs, "Mie's Kitchen" which is completely understaffed and over priced. It took us 20 minutes just to get our check and another 10 minutes to get our change. This don't help when you are on time restraints. However, the breakfast restaurant next door "The Yolk" was quick and very good.

You can walk to Buckingham Fountain and the Museum Campus. You can hop on the bus right in front of the hotel and get almost anywhere. There is a parking garage a block and a half behind the hotel that is only $14 a day. It is cheaper to park your car and take the bus or train because the cost of parking at each place you go is $16-$25.

Booked the room with hotels.com and did not notice the "you are not guaranteed your bed preference" and was stuck with a King sized bed for three girls. It worked out fine because we're all tiny and have known each other forever, but still a disappointment. We asked for extra pillows at check-in as well as later on (because we had not received them). As far as I know, they're still looking to see if they have extra pillows. We were followed into the hotel by two young men who proceeded to get into the elevator and ask if they could come back to our room. Only unsafe moment we felt during our stay in Chicago.

Very close to field museum, shedd aquar. The park across the street was very nice for the kids. The resturant at the hotel not so great. Plenty place to eat with in walking distance. The view from the room I stayed in had a great view of sear tower and the park. 9th floor in the corner.

From the outside, the hotel doesn't look like very much. And, to be honest, it's not the most beautiful hotel inside, either. The rooms are very simple and plain. However, it's clean and safe, and the value was great considering the location. Located on S Michigan and Roosevelt, it probably couldn't be better located for the average visitor. It's a short walk from the museums and Soldier Field, and all the rest of the shops and restaurants on Michigan. There is a Jewel-Osco grocery store and a Walgreens nearby. There is also an entrance to the CTA Red Line right around the corner. If you are staying for several days and don't plan on driving, there is a public automated parking garage on W 11th that is safe, clean, and $14 a day.

Well satisfied except room has no refrigerator and most especially no parking. Parking fee was outrageous.

The staff was very helpful and exceded my expecations.I was given all the help I needed to find locations and verious trains and busses.They were helpful when a grandchild became sick and we had to get into our room early.All in all we had a Great stay.

Super tourist location. Easy walk to museum campus, EL trains, and bus to Museum of Science and Industry. Parking ($24 valet) was reasonable for area but took a while to get car out. Rooms are smallish but clean and comfortable. Staff helpful and freindly with transport hints. Nice pool but was too cold for our stay. Wish they had a jacuzzi. On site restaurant OK. Several restaurants and a grocery/drug store/Starbucks 2 blocks away at Wabash/Roosvelt. Ideal for family tourists. Not fancy. Overall a very good deal for location.

This is a fine hotel to go to for a family vacation in Chicago: the cost is very affordable; the location can't be beat (Grants Park, Museum Campus, Subway/El 2 blocks way, grocery, convenience stores, good restaurants of a variety of types); the rooms are comfortable and clean; staff are responsive (we had a wet rug by the AC unit in our first room, and were immediately given another when we called it in; additional towels were delivered right away when requested); free wireless; and the cool outdoor pool is awefully nice on a hot afternoon. As long as you are not expecting a luxury stay, you will not be disappointed.

Very good location to access most famous places (e.g. museums). Very easy to get in the local subway.

If you check-in at 3pm, when check-in time begins and people who left their bags can reclaim them , expect to stand in line for a while.

The beds were comfortable but the front desk people were not. When we first arrived we werent even greeted. Rooms are small.

This is an older hotel but a good value for the location. The roof top pool is nice and the rooms are adequate. Our room smelled like smoke in spite of the sign that said, "No Smoking". Valet parking took some time so call early - front desk was often busy.

THe hotel was good the staff was friendly. Great location in Chicago. everything you need was in walking distance. The best thing about the hotel was there was free internet and it was reasonably fast.

BW Grant Park was across from Grant Park and other Lollapalooza people were there too. Very nice and friendly staff, brough us an extra pillow right away.

the exterior and lobby aren't much to brag about, but the rooms were very nice, very comfortable and newly updated. the staff were very friendly and attentive. wi-fi worked (most of the time) and was free! great location, easy to walk to museums and the miracle mile. not that far from quick food as well as some nicer restaurants. i would stay here again!

My sister and I recently took our three grandkids ages 3-10 to chicago to go to tne museums etc. This hotel was within walking distance of most of the things we wanted to do and if not the hotel staff was very helpful in directing us to the right bus stop. We had a slight mix up on check in but it was immediately taken care of and we were given free upgrades to suites. The staff was very polite and helpful. The hotel itself is older but well kept and well worth the price! I will definately stay here again whenever I go back to chicago!

Went for a long weekend for concerts at Grant Park so the location was excellent; it was only about 1/4 mile away so we could walk. The beds were fantastic! I slept awesome. Only downsides were that they constantly forgot to refresh our towels with the room cleaning and one time we had the do not disturb on the door & they still went in and cleaned. Otherwise it was a great hotel for our needs.

My sister and I went for a quick 2-day trip to Chicago. This hotel was perfect for us. It was close to the museum campus and we even found it to be a nice walk down to Millennium Park. The decor is a bit dated, but the bed was comfortable, our room was extremely well taken care of. We both agreed that we would stay there again on our next trip.

I stayed in Chicago for Lollapalooza so I really only needed a place to sleep, but was very surprised by the quality of the hotel. The location was hard to beat because of the variety of restaurants and entertainment nearby as well as the park being across the street.

We liked the room because it was exactly what was pictured so it was what we were expecting. The staff was very nice and helpful!!! It wasn't to bad walking distance to dowm towm and right across the street from the park. Easy to get to the musuems too!

We wanted to be close to Grant Park and not only did this hotel do this at a great price, but also allowed us to be near the museum campus as well.

This hotel is Awesome! Close to everything and all cab rides under $10.00 with 4 occupants except for when the cabbies thought they were slick... They tried to give the wrong change and they tried to go the long way around. This was my first time in Chicago but I know how to read a map. Be Careful they will try and get you! The beds in this hotel were very comfortable and we experienced no noise of any kind. Even during Lollapolooza. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Pool was not heated.

The hotel and location was nice. The only complaint is we did not get the bed size requested and we had requested to be on the same floor as my daughter and did not get that.

They did not have any non-smoking rooms remaining when I checked in. The hotel is a little older, but it is still in good condition. It is a short walk to the Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, Adler Planetarium, and of course, Grant Park. The hotel staff is very nice. The valet keeps vehicles in a secured garage. The roof top pool (3rd floor) had plenty of towels and was well kept.

The hotel looked nice when you walked in however the staff was never really at the desk to help you when it was needed. They did have a kias in the front to give directions to people if that was all you wanted. The rooms were clean but the pillows were non existant. The halls smelled funny and they required that you have valet parking and you had to wait 15 to 20 minutes for your car if you wanted to go anywhere.

i'm very satisfied with the location. you have to walk only 2 minutes to the next bus station and the people in this hotel can help you with almost everything.

Grant Park is right out the front door, so we were able to walk/jog as often as we wanted. The elevated train was a few blocks over, and there was a bus stop right at the hotel. When I saw the note on the hotel website about "valet parking", I called the hotel and asked if there were alternatives - the man I spoke with said no, there were none. When we arrived, a much more helpful person told us of a public parking garage nearby.

Best price we could find. Walking distance to The Shedd, Museums, the park etc. The staff was very helpful and professional.
