Friendly and efficient modern hotel, with plenty of facilities. Operates a 24hr free shuttle bus to the airport every half hour, takes 10 mins. From there you can catch the L, 40 mins, into Downtown. Be aware when coming up the tollway, to stay in the left lanes or you miss a booth. YOU ARE ALLOWED 2 MISSED BOOTHS in a calendar year.

As a single mom traveling with my son to tour Chicago, the important things for me were safety, price and cleanliness. The hotel and area appeared very safe, the place was clean and it worked great for a short stay. We bought a CityPass and 3 day Metro pass. We took the shuttle to/from O'Hare to the museums, aquarium, and Navy Pier. Everyone at the hotel was very helpful.

Really enjoyed the Sleep Number beds and the transportaion to the airport to use the subway to downtown. Staff was very friendly.

We are a really young couple (20 & 21) and we found this hotel to be great. It is very peaceful and the personel is very nice. It's about 40 minutes away from the city on train but, the shuttle service is very efficient, and after a loud night at the city, it is perfect to come to the hotel room and have a nice sleep. The only thing I would suggest is to have Continental Breakfast served for the price we paid, but everything else was perfect. Specially the bed, which is really comfortable, and the bathroom is very clean. Good Hotel for the money!

I thoroughly enjoyed this hotel and would stay again. Everyone was friendly and things were clean, prices were good, and the bed was beyond comfortable. I was very pleased.

Free parking, free shuttle, expensive onsite food, approx 45min to downtown by shuttle and metro combo. good surrounding food and supplies. nice beds, no hot tub!! no breakfast!

the front desk staff was great about answering questions on how to get from one place to another on the L train.

We picked this hotel based on the previous hotel.com reviews which were right on target. Convenient to ohare, great free shuttle service 12/7. free in room internet was appreciated. easy connection to blue line subway from ohare to downtown ...... be sure to buy a 24 hr visitor cta subway pass if you doing downtown. subway sure beats driving and parking!!

This hotel has one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in (sleep number beds). It was quiet, clean, and friendly. The location was also good - great steak place right next door. I would certainly return.

Overall a very enjoyable place to stay. The 24 hour shuttle to the airport/train station makes it very easy to get downtown. The sleep number beds are my only gripe and they are only a problem if you have more than one person sleeping on them. They tend to behave like overpriced air matresses and bounce you around if the other person moves.

Very clean hotel. Room and bedding very comfortable. Bathrooms are very small, but not a problem for 1, 2 guests at the most. Bathrooms should have fans installed. Train ride into the city was longer than expected- 45 mins to an hour. Cleaning staff super nice!

comfy beds and bedding

The hotel advertised a lobby bar but when we got back at 11:00 P.M. on a Friday evening, it was closed and looked as if it had been for quite some time.

The price was great. The rooms were small but certainly adequate. Breakfast is a buffet, costing around $10 per person. IHOP and Steak-N-Shake are within easy walking distance. The rooms do not have wireless internet service, but a network cable is provided in each room for access. We didn't have our car with us and planned to use the CTA for our transportation around the city. If you are planning to do this, be aware that the Blue Line has been undergoing construction for a few months. The line is open through the week, but closed between the Western and Washington stations on the weekends. They provide shuttle busses from Western into Chicago, but these are much slower than the subway. It took us approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours to get from the hotel to downtown each day. (It even took this long with our late-night commute back on Saturday evening.) The free hotel shuttle picks up and drops off at O'Hare approximately twice per hour. Overall, the service was very reliable. We returned from downtown late one night (about 1:30 AM)and the shuttle was "on another run" because of a wedding party the hotel was hosting. Rather than wait until 2:30 AM for the shuttle, we paid one of the other hotel shuttles to take us back. Probably the biggest frustration during this was the difficulty we had in getting someone to answer the phone at the front desk during this time. For the most part, the hotel is nice and a good value. Any problems we experienced, for the most part, were due to construction on the Blue Line, which we had not expected, and were out of the hotel's control.

I am away from my family for an extended training session this summer. My husband was able to fly in for a quick weekend visit and this hotel was perfect. It was clean and very comfortable. We weren't bothered by any noise from the airport and couldn't even hear anything. Not even the popular concert that was going on at the Arena nearby. The shuttle was quick and reliable and free! The sleep number bed was awesome. Surrounding restaurants were the usual chains but still very good. I've got no complaints.

Very nice hotel for the price I got from Hotels.com. It is near resturants, convenient stores, you do not have to go far to get things you may need during your stay. Rooms were nice with all the necessary convenience, having free internet access was a bonus. I would stay there again and would recommend it to others.

Our room was nice and the bed was great. My only complaint is the bathroom was a little too small.

Hotel was clean, the hotel staffs were friendly. The price was also attractive. The only negative I could think of is that the bathroom gets too foggy and the vent doesn’t suck the humid air every time I took shower. The second drawback is that the air conditioner (even if it works fine)makes too much niose when the fan turns on. Other wise my experience with this hotel was very good. And I will recommend this hotel to others.

Very nice room with a balcony, the view isnt that great but the bed was very comfortable and the service was very prompt and friendly. Free shuttle to O'hare was convenient but be prepared to take a 30 min or so subway trip to downtown. Great stay though I give it a 5 for how inexpensive it was and comfortable as well.

The most significant thing we had to deal with at this hotel was the sleep number beds. We weren't use to them and just felt like an air mattess. But if you are use to sleep number beds, its for you! It was a 40 minute train ride to downtown Chicago and there is a complimentary shuttle picking up every 30 minutes that takes you to the station and will pick you up. All in all, great stay. Clean and tidy.

For anyone wanting to overnight before an early flight from O'Hare this hotel is good. The room was good size with comfortable beds. Soundproofing was great considering how close it is to the airport.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The price was very reasonable. I was there for 5 days and was happy. Hotel is connected to a very good steak and seafood restaurant. I was also happy with the surrounding area and very close to shoppling and other restaurant and close to highway.

Great hotel for the price. Loved the Sleep number bed, although the controls didnt seem to work right for the bed. It was a very comfortable rest regardless. Good customer service as well. Everyone seemed very pleasant.

We like to stay at this hotel, it is in a good area near shopping, and always has great rates. It is easy to find and always clean. Breakfast is not included, but for the rates it doesn't matter.

Shuttle service was very useful and convenient. Front desk workers were helpful with directions and such. Great hotel for the price.

The hotel was remodeled within the last few years--the decor is modern in style, everything in the room was very clean, and the furniture was comfortable and in excellent condition. I stayed in a room with Sleep Number beds, and though I hadn't slept on a Sleep Number bed before, it didn't take long to learn how to use the digital control to adjust the firmness level of the mattress. I greatly appreciated the opportunity to adjust the firmness of the mattress to my preference, and it turned out to be one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever had. The distance from the hotel to Chicago O'Hare Airport is about five miles. Personally, I thought the noise from aircraft flying overhead was very minimal, and it didn't interfere at all with sleeping during my five-night stay. If you are an extremely light sleeper, have insomnia, or are never exposed to the sound of an occasional airplane overhead, you probably won't be satisfied with any hotel near the airport. All of the hotel staff I encountered made me feel very welcome. The staff at the front desk were all friendly, they quickly responded to concerns, and were helpful by providing answers to general questions. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job of cleaning the room every day. For the most part, the free Internet access in the room worked well. It was very helpful for researching information about attractions in Chicago, and plotting directions to places by car or train. The process for printing information to pick up at the front desk was easy and reliable. Though I drove my car to Chicago, I relied solely on CTA's "El" train and bus system to tour the city for several days. The hotel's free shuttle service to the O'Hare airport was reliable and took no longer than 10 minutes. It was easy to catch the "El" train at the airport transportation center and ride the Blue Line into downtown Chicago for the day. Since the hotel shuttle and the train's Blue Line operate 24-hours, I could easily come and go

Hotel is a little older and the hallways show it, but was pleasantly surprised by the room, which was updated. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was great.

Found room very comfortable, although bathroom was a bit small. Would have preferred better coffee pot in room instead of small one-cup pot. Overall, it was very satisfactory and employees were cordial and polite.

I understand Fridays were free,but given the quality of the room I got, if the first night hadn't been free, I would have gone to another hotel. The room is in need of serious updating. Uncomfortable furniture, an uncomfortable bed and a very small bathroom were my impressions of the hotel. The bartender in the lounge was great, but on our second night's stay (a Saturday, no less)the bar was closed.The front desk didn't leave a very good impression either. My check in was interrupted by a phone call which the clerk did not seem to want to put on hold (hello, I was there first). I would have to be very desperate for lodging to ever stay at this hotel again.

Positives: Comfort, cleanliness, staff helpfulness and courtesy, location (relative to ORD): Excellent. Negatives: No microwave or refrigerator in the room I reserved; no free continental breakfast and breakfast buffet is overpriced for what it is. (However IHOP is about 100 paces away.)
